An engineering house, not a contract shop.

Twenty-four years of pursuing zero-defect manufacturing across the industries that move humanity forward. We don't take projects we can't do better than anyone else.

Our story

From a 200 m² workshop to four facilities across the Baltics.

When Andris Bērziņš founded Riga Manufacturing in 2001, the brief was simple: bring German-grade precision to Eastern European costs, and never compromise on tolerance. The first contract was 400 stainless brackets for a Finnish elevator company.

Today we run 247 production stations across four facilities, hold AS9100, IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 certifications, and ship to 47 countries — but we still answer your call in under four hours, and we still measure success in microns.

We are an engineering house. We pick projects we can do better than anyone else, and we say no to the rest.

Milestones

Twenty-four years, six inflection points.

A timeline of the moments that turned a workshop into a global enterprise — every one of them driven by an engineering decision, not a marketing one.

2001

Founded in Riga, Latvia

A 200 m² workshop, two CNC mills, and one stubborn belief: Eastern European precision can match German.

2008

First aerospace contract

Selected by Airbus Tier-1 supplier for titanium bracket production. AS9100 certification follows in 2010.

2014

Facility 02 opens

A dedicated automotive plant outside Kaunas — 60,000 m², first robotic assembly cells deployed.

2019

Vertical integration

Additive metal facility opens; in-house R&D lab launched; first patents filed on adaptive machining algorithms.

2022

Smart Factory programme

247 production stations brought online with real-time MES; defect rate drops below 30 PPM company-wide.

2024

AI-driven production launches

Computer vision quality inspection deployed across all four facilities; 99.97% first-pass yield achieved.

Principles

Four non-negotiables.

The lines we won't cross, no matter what the contract says.

/ 01

Precision over volume

We'd rather ship 10,000 perfect parts than 100,000 acceptable ones.

/ 02

Own the engineering

No black boxes. Every process is designed, validated and improved in-house.

/ 03

Long-term partnership

Our average customer relationship is twelve years. We are not transactional.

/ 04

Operator-first culture

The person at the machine has the final word on quality. Always.

Let's build the next chapter together.

Whether you need 100 parts or 100,000 — start with a conversation. No commitments, just engineering judgment.
